The ODD Foundation believes in the critical role communication plays within our society. It is the ODD Foundation’s goal to promote clear and accurate information. With the rise of misinformation across popular social media platforms, the need for better education and literacy is more important than ever.
Our goal is to use digital and traditional media to push for science education (from sociology to biology, ecology to evolutionary biology, and everything in between); science communication; and outreach. We want to provide a credible informational and educational resource to youths, adults, and anyone anywhere who is curious to learn about the world around us. We also want to provide resources for continuing professional training to adults who are in positions to teach youth (e.g., teachers, homeschoolers, Boys and Girls Club members) in a variety of educator, and communicator positions through our planned projects.
We aim to provide an accurate resource for scientific information — from sociology to biology; ecology and evolutionary biology to A.I. technology — to help educate the public and combat rampant misinformation and disinformation. Our goal is to provide resources for the public to become better neighbors to each other, our wildlife species and better stewards of our environment as the world tackles issues of population sprawl and changing climate.
